Important safeguards: - Location access is optional - Background location is requested only if required for selected automations - Clear in-app explanations are shown before requesting permission - You may disable location access at any time via device settings

Cue Home does not use location data for: - Advertising - Profiling - Selling or sharing with third parties.

2.4 Microphone Access

Cue Home may request access to the device microphone only when required for user-initiated features, including: - Two-way audio communication for smart doorbells or intercom devices - Voice-based triggers and commands within the app

Microphone safeguards: - Microphone access is optional - Audio is accessed only when the relevant feature is actively in use - Cue Home does not perform continuous background audio recording - Audio data is not used for advertising or profiling

Users may revoke microphone access at any time via device settings.

2.5 Smart Home & Device Metadata

Cue Home processes smart home metadata such as: - Device operational states (on/off, brightness, temperature, etc.) - Automation logic and scene definitions - Room and area assignments

This data is used only to provide core app functionality and is not monetized.

3. Purpose of Data Processing

We process information to: - Enable smart home control and automation - Support location-based and presence-based automations (when enabled) - Enable two-way audio and voice-based interactions (when enabled) - Maintain and secure user accounts - Improve app stability, reliability, and performance - Diagnose crashes and technical issues - Provide customer support - Prevent misuse and ensure system integrity - Comply with legal obligations under Indian law.

4. Consent & Permissions

Cue Home follows a strict consent-first permission model: - Sensitive permissions (location, background location, microphone) are requested only when required - Each permission request includes a clear, feature-specific explanation - Core app functionality remains available even if optional permissions are denied - Permissions can be revoked at any time through device settings

5. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

Cue Home does not sell personal data.

We may share limited information with trusted service providers strictly for operational purposes, such as: -
