("Cue Home", "we", "us", or "our")

PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE CUE HOME APPLICATION. BY INSTALLING OR USING THE CUE HOME APP, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (THE “AGREEMENT” OR “EULA”). IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, DO NOT INSTALL OR USE THE APPLICATION.

PART A

1. LICENSE GRANT

Subject to the terms of this Agreement, Cue Home grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Cue Home app ("App") on your personal device(s) solely for your private smart home management, monitoring, and control purposes.

This license includes access to proprietary smart home technologies developed by Cue Home, as well as open-source integrations, primarily with the Home Assistant ecosystem.

2. INTEGRATION WITH HOME ASSISTANT

Cue Home is built as a companion application to Home Assistant and depends on the functionality and APIs provided by the Home Assistant platform. We respect the core open-source principles of Home Assistant and contribute back where appropriate. All integration complies with Home Assistant’s licensing requirements (Apache 2.0), and attribution is provided in our open-source credits section within the App and on our website.

3. OPEN SOURCE COMPONENTS

Cue Home uses multiple open-source libraries and projects, each governed by its respective license (e.g., Apache 2.0, MIT, GPLv3). All such components are:

• Used within the scope of their respective licenses,

• Acknowledged and attributed on our website at https://cuehome.in/ open-source.

We do not claim ownership of these open-source components, nor do we intend to infringe upon any license or intellectual property.If you believe there has been a licensing violation, please contact us at legal@cuehome.in before taking any legal or takedown action. We commit to resolving such matters promptly and respectfully.

4. RESTRICTIONS

You may not:

• Modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works from any part of the App except where explicitly allowed by law or by open-source license terms.

• Resell, rent, lease, sublicense, or distribute the App.

• Use the App to infringe on any laws or rights of others, including the misuse of smart home systems.

• Circumvent technical limitations, security systems, or licensing mechanisms.

5. OWNERSHIP

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Cue Home. The App and its proprietary components are protected by copyright, trade secret, and other laws. This EULA does not grant you any rights to trademarks, logos, or other intellectual property of Cue Home or third parties.

6. PRIVACY & DATA COLLECTION

Cue Home may collect limited anonymized usage data to improve functionality and user experience. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of such data under our Privacy Policy.

The App does not access or transmit any personal home data to third parties without your consent. You are responsible for the security of your connected Home Assistant instance and any associated credentials.

7. UPDATES AND SUPPORT

Cue Home may provide updates to improve performance, fix bugs, or enhance security. These updates may be automatic. Support may be offered via our website or via email, but is not guaranteed.

8. THIRD-PARTY INTEGRATIONS

The App supports integrations with third-party services like Apple Home, Google Home, and Matter. Each of these services is subject to its own terms and conditions, which you must agree to separately. Cue Home is not responsible for the functionality, privacy, or security of these third-party services.

9. TERMINATION

This Agreement remains in effect until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate immediately if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must uninstall the App and destroy all copies.

10. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CUE HOME DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

IN NO EVENT SHALL CUE HOME BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

12. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from this EULA shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

PART B

Account Deletion

Cue Home ("Cue Home", "we", "us", or "our") is the smart home app operated by Cue Home Innovation Labs Pvt. Ltd. This page explains how to delete your Cue Home account and your personal data, and how to ask us to do it without opening the app. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy: https://cuehome.in/legal/privacy-policy

1. Scope and Applicability

This page applies to anyone who created a Cue Home account in the Cue Home app.

2. Delete Your Account in the App

2.1 Open the Cue Home app and sign in.

2.2 On the All homes screen, open the three-dot menu and choose My Profile.

2.3 Choose Delete Account, read the message, and tap Delete to confirm.

2.4 Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, settings, and associated data. This action cannot be undone.

2.5 If the app tells you that you cannot delete your profile, or you can no longer sign in, use Section 3.

3. Request Deletion Without the App

In accordance with Indian law, users have the right to:

Access personal data
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of personal data
To request deletion of your account and personal data, email: support@cuehome.in

Use the subject "Delete my Cue Home account" and include the email address and mobile number you used to sign up, and your name as it appears in the app. You do not need to open, sign in to, or reinstall the app. Please write from the email address registered with your account. We may reply to confirm that the request is from you before we delete anything. We will never ask for your password.

Requests are processed within 30 days, subject to legal requirements.

4. What We Delete

4.1 We delete your Cue Home account and the personal data Cue stores with it: your profile (such as your name, email address and mobile number), your settings, and associated data.

4.2 Where a service provider holds this data for us, we ask them to delete it too.

5. Data Retention

5.1 Account and smart home configuration data is retained while your account is active, and is deleted when your account is deleted.

5.2 Diagnostic and analytics data is retained for up to 12 months.

5.3 Data is securely deleted when no longer required, unless retention is mandated by law, for example for security, fraud prevention, or legal and regulatory duties.

6. Your Home Controller

A Cue home controller in your home, and the home data stored on it, are under your control. Deleting your Cue Home account does not by itself erase data stored on your own home controller. If you want the controller itself cleared, contact us at support@cuehome.in.

7. Before You Delete

7.1 Deletion is permanent. You will lose access to Cue Home with this account.

7.2 If the app says you cannot delete your profile, contact us at support@cuehome.in and we will help you complete the deletion.

8. Changes to this Page

We may update this page. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
