Introduction
Cue Home is India's first Smart Home Controller, built to make things work with Apple Home, today and eventually Matter. The Cue Home is specifically built to enable your Smart Home devices to connect with the Apple Home app, ensuring perfect integration, reliable performance, and long-term maintenance.
Unboxing Cue
Your journey with Cue starts with our Cue Bridge. Once you receive the shipment, ensure you have a stable power supply and Ethernet connection. Cue Bridge will require internet connection for initial set-up, device configuration and system upgrade.
Unboxing Cue Bridge is simple, You will have a Cue Bridge device and Its power supply. Unbox when you have your system ready for installation.
Ensure stable connectivity with local network for optimum connection. Turn on the power supply for Cue Bridge, plugin the Ethernet cable and connect it with your router or network switch. And check the status light flickering. Voila! your Cue is now ready to use :)
Cue Desk
Once your Cue Bridge is set up, you can connect to Cue Desk by simply
typing 'cuehome.local' or IP address of
the Cue Bridge in your browser. Now Log-in to the Cue Desk to configure your First Project.
If you have are logging in for the first time, you need to signup.
Sign Up
Sign up as a partner if you are a practicing system integrator; user sign-up is available for regular users. Please fill in the required details and submit the OTP that you will receive in your email.
Note: If you are a registering as a Partner, then you will have to get approved by the Cue Team before you can start using Cue Desk. Learn more about partnering with us here.
After Successfully registration, you can sign into your Cue Desk instance.
Your First Project
Once you are logged in, you will access your Dashboard. This is where all your projects will be managed. You can handle all the details related to your Cue Home projects from this location.
If you are a partner, you need to first register the user. Tap on the 'User Registration' tab on the left side and select 'add user' in the top right corner. Follow the process to add a user as per the required details.
Please fill in all the details accurately to identify the project for maintenance over a period of time. Ensure that the user status remains active to set up a project for the specific user.
Now move to back your Dashboard and click add Project.
3. Select the Client from the drop-down that you have already added.
4. Add a device and fill in appropriate details as needed for the device. You can find more details in the device configuration blog.
5. Then click on execute to complete your device setup.
6. You can find all the configured devices in your dashboard.

Backup & Restore
Each project is backed up after execution, and for added assurance, you can always perform a backup yourself.
Restoring the device can be crucial in the following cases:
- Hardware damage due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Hardware failure due to technical reasons.
